FEN is an Atmospheric Black Metal / Post-Rock band from United Kingdom, founded in 2006, conceived as a means to deliver atmospheric journeys across landscapes of desolation through music. The Watcher, Grungyn and Theutus took a musical template rooted in atmospheric black metal and fused this with a number of elements from outside the genre – post-rock, shoegaze, ambient – that nevertheless contributed to escalating the sense of introspection so central to the band’s themes. Bleakness.
A debut three-track EP ‘Ancient Sorrow’ was released in 2007 and was quickly followed up by the debut full-length ‘The Malediction Fields’ in 2009. This was followed by high-profile live shows with Agalloch, Negura Bunget and Skyforger, culminating in a two week long tour with Negura Bunget in 2010. Four full length albums have followed the debut – 2010’s Epoch, 2013’s Dustwalker, 2014’s ferocious Carrion Skies and 2017’s immense concept piece ‘Winter’. Fen’s evolution during this period is unmistakable – each aspect of their sound has been honed and expanded to present a crystalline fusion of searing black metal, evocative doom and glittering, ethereal ambience. Live shows have reinforced this, deftly blending delicacy and power - as witnesses to the band’s performances on their month-long stint across Europe with Agalloch can attest, as will those who have seen the band perform in countries as diverse as the US and Russia.
In March 2019, Fen recorded their sixth full length album ‘The Dead Light’. This is due for release on the 6th December by their new home – Germany’s legendary Prophecy Productions, leaders in the field of releasing quality atmospheric black metal. Reflection. Rage. Sorrow. These words capture the essence of Fen. Fen will be presenting their brand new 6th studio album “The Dead Light” on this European Tour.

FROSTMOON ECLIPSE is with six previous full length albums as well as several limited edition releases and appearances on tribute albums to its name, one of the longest serving Black Metal bands on the Italian scene. Formed in the autumn of 1994, the band has long been known for combining Old School Black Metal with acoustic interludes of haunting beauty, setting it apart from the usual fast and chaotic sound one would expect from the genre and creating an atmosphere all of its own. Following just their inner feelings and avoiding trends of any kind, Frostmoon Eclipse are not famous enough to bow down to compromises. Their early era was characterized by a surely rawer approach until the signing with Osmose Production for their groundbreaking album “The End Stands Silent” that redefined the shape of the band towards a more mature and monolithic sound.
Lyrics can be described as a nightmare between deep depression and pure nihilism that bring the listeners into a journey towards the unknown of the human psyche, where darkness wins the feeble light of hope.
In early 2018 Frostmoon Eclipse signed a contract with Immortal Frost Productions for the release of their 7th Full Length album “Worse Weather To Come” (featuring J.J. from Harakiri For The Sky & Karg) which was released on 25th October 2019. Besides celebrating their 25 years of existence, they’ll also be presenting their brand new album “Worse Weather To Come” on this Dead Light To Come European Tour. A premiere to withhold.
