Ein zweites Mal öffnet sich der VORTEX für euch in der ARENA Wien. Genau 2 Monate nach dem großartigen Warmup, geht es - wie angekündigt - fulminant in die nächste Runde. Wieder erscheinen drei Bands, die euch mit ihren Riffs und Klangwolken durch Raum und Zeit führen.

21:00 - ZOLLE

Only those who know the ease of a cow while defecating can understand the genesis of the songs of Zolle. Children of a natural path, direct, compact, subject to the force of gravity.
Impact safe with warm soul that does not end in the fall to the ground.
Even the sketches are lost.
In this contemporary, complex and indefinite, spare plates affirm the essential, appearing as furrows of land of the plain from which they come. Being broken, turned, crushed, chopped.
Scents and smells merge into a single mass of sound: Zolle.

22:00 - Savanah

Savanah is an austrian Stoner Rock Trio from Graz, formed in 2014. The band takes influences from Doom, Desert and Psychedelic Rock to create their unique sound, once described as aggressive Stoner with a deafening bass and powerful riffs. Energetic Live-Performances are part of the bands character and attitude. In february 2015 the first song of their upcoming debut EP Deep Shades (Stone Free Records) was released and gained airplay on radio FM4, 3NRG and others.

Torso lassen sich nicht schubladisieren. Die Band steht - wie ihr Name deutlich macht – für Bruchstücke, die beim Jammen zusammengesetzt und in einem ergebnisoffenen Schaffensprozess in eine Form gegossen werden, die – angereichert mit Energie, Esprit und Enthusiasmus – am Ende idealerweise wirkungsmächtige Musik ergibt.
