Master Boot Record

MASTER BOOT RECORD (aka MBR) is a Computer Metal project founded in 2016 by producer Vittorio D’amore mixing together heavy metal and synthesized electronic music. MBR released 14 albums so far with multiple record labels and has been one of the most successful musicians on US digital distribution platform Bandcamp charting #1 in general charts several times. Because of that Bandcamp often featured the albums and made interviews directly with the artist. In 2024–2025, MASTER BOOT RECORD expanded globally with the release of “Hardwarez” (Metal Blade Records, October 2024), followed by an extensive world tour across North America, Canada, the UK, and Europe between September and November 2024, totaling more than 40 shows. The band recently toured as support for the french electronic metal band Igorrr across Europe and is confirmed to perform at more European festival such as Brutal Assault, Mystic Festival, Motocultor, Arc Tangent and more to be announced.
